Case Study: Hear From One Of Our Customers!

We pride ourselves on providing serious fun, exercise and an all around great experience for all our visitors small or big. We’ve asked one of our recent guests to give us a rundown of how they, as a parent, found Wacky World.

"As a Dad I find a lot of kid’s entertainment tedious and a little hectic. Play centres are my idea of a nightmare with the poor food, army of kids charging around the seating area and endless arguments between kids over who was queuing up for the slide first. When my Wife suggested we visited Wacky World I’ll be honest, I expected much of the same and the journey there had hoped something would crop up meaning we could swerve it.

The brand is imposing and pulling into the car park the kids were very excited…by this point, I’m still wishing for a minor miracle to end this journey in the pub instead of crying into a cold cappuccino before it’s knocked off my table by a stray child.

Turns out, I’ve been judging all kid’s activities with the same negative view and that is pretty unfair on new ventures, especially the creative ones we haven’t seen before.

After signing a brief waiver, we were straight into reception and whilst assuming a young team may be a little inefficient they got us signed in before we knew it and had our kids queuing up for their session in a matter of seconds.

My Wife and I took our seats in the Wacky Diner, which unlike most centre ‘cafes’ is fairly secluded from the action…a welcome feature. From here you get a great view of the centre and can keep a pretty close eye on your kids.

Next to us is the area where they line up the children waiting to go into their session and what happens next is one of the best things I’ve ever seen at a play centre of any kind. The team leave their reception post and all take part in a big countdown to help ‘gee’ the kids up before releasing the rope and letting them all run loose.

A pizza, hot dog and one hour later the kids were exhausted but absolutely buzzing and after not seeing us for an hour were rambling their every step back to us. Thankfully their energy didn’t last long and their exhaustion set in properly for an early bed!

Thank you Wacky World and their very competent and enthusiastic team, despite my reservations, I’ll be back!"
